Stirred Coffee
Stirred is a personal design project using Cinema 4D, VRay, and Photoshop. The goal was to design a coffee shop from start to finish, which included modelling the structure and every stick of furniture, designing all of the graphical elements, and lighting and rendering everything. This project also led to my Lava Coffee Bags project. Click any image below for the full size version.
Stirred Coffee afforded me the chance to get creative with every aspect of a space, down to the normally ignored design of the creamer counter and garbage disposal area.
One of the most enjoyable parts of this project was developing the branding, like these cup designs.
With no real-world budgetary constraints, Stirred gave me the chance to dig up the coolest looking designs for all of the shop's equipment, including these high-tech coffee makers.
Stirred's cozy space is accented by simple and elegant art, like these big metal letters, photographs, and the exposed brickwork and wall paint of owners past.
The initial design of Stirred's branding helped to fuel the look of the rest of the shop. The orange, brown, and white of the logo inspired the rest of the decor as well as the color grading of each render in post-production.
Stirred's numerous bits of set dressing lent a very photographic quality to the renders, with many opportunities for interesting shallow-depth-of-field compositions.
