MLBAM Reel and Designs

This is a small cross-section of some of the designs I've done for Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM). Below the reel are highlights of my MLBAM design work. Ninety-nine percent of the work shown was fast-turnaround (a few days maximum from concept to completion) and done completely by me. All animation was created with Adobe After Effects.

Design boards are an important component for my MLBAM work, as projects tend to be very fast-paced, and quick Photoshop mock-ups are the quickest way to get a project approved for animation.

Projects can contain many sub-components, such as the graphics package I created for the Express Written Consent show below.

The process of putting an MLBAM project together normally consists of design boards, component building, and then animation, resulting in an animated finished piece. Following this process in order normally helps to avoid going back to earlier stages and having to redo work.

MLBAM's wide variety of shows, applications, and sponsors has given me the opportunity to design a diverse range of project styles.
